Full description
This is a unique original abstract work of art collaged from my own monoprint papers. A mixture of random and structured processes have created a coherent design which fills the page with shape and colour and can take the viewer’s own interpretation.
I created the collage papers using a monoprint process with several layers of blue and green acrylic paints, blended to give a variety of shades. The textured papers were cut into random shapes and pasted onto a white cartridge paper, then outlined in black fineliner. This sheet was cut into squares which were arranged in a pleasing grid design on acid free black card.
The picture is presented in a black A3 mount with the white inner to the mountboard giving an outline to the collage. It has a backing board and is protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 20” wide by 16” tall (image size 16” by 11”) - that’s approximately 50 by 40 (40 by 29) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame.
