This highly textured spiral necklace is made from different sizes of beads in shades of green, lime green, pale green and khaki. The stitch is called Cellini Spiral, a modified tubular peyote stitch. The necklace is hollow, making it light in weight, despite its thickness. It is finished with a pretty pewter toggle clasp.
Cellini Spiral gives a beautifully even spiral with a tight twist which holds its shape extremely well. However although the rope is firm to touch it is still very flexible as it bends at the narrowest part of the spiral. Thus it still drapes nicely although not as softly as some of the other spirals.
The necklace is 47.5cms (18.7ins) long and 2cms (0.8ins) wide if you measure diagonally along the line of the widest part of the spiral.
The necklace will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and posted in a sturdy cardboard box for safe travel.
