I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £398.03 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £398.03 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 03/12/25.

Full description
A very elegant string of beautiful white freshwater pearls, ideal for a special occasion or to set off a smart outfit. These are good quality, medium sized pearls, smooth with no obvious flaws and a very good lustre. They described by the seller of the loose pearls as AA grade. Rice pearls are slightly elongated and irregular. This lack of regularity in shape adds to their charm and identifies them as genuine freshwater pearls.
I have strung these pearls on silk: the traditional medium, and have knotted between each pearl, an old-fashioned technique that ensures a good drape and also security in the unlikely event that the silk breaks.
I have finished the necklace with sterling silver findings: a tiny bead, French wire (gimp) and a trigger clasp.
The necklace is 46cms (18 ins) long. It will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and posted in a sturdy cardboard box for safe travel.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £5 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
