Full description
This Scarf/Wrap has been hand knitted to my own design in 100% merino wool. With lace patterning at the ends and a lace border the design is a more contemporary take on the traditional lace knitting. In the design I have utilised patterns and construction methods from the lace knitting traditions of Shetland and Orenburg.
I have hand knitted the scarf in 1 ply merino yarn, which is spun in Italy. The high quality, luxurious yarn, produces a scarf that is wonderfully soft, light, and warm to wear.
The lace pattern has been highlighted with green glass beads which have been knitted into the fabric so they are completely secure.
Dimensions:
The scarf is 136cm long by 46cm wide.
Care instructions:
The scarf should be washed by hand using a ‘delicate fabric’ detergent, it may be given a short spin before being reshaped while damp and dried flat.
Please note that the colour accuracy may vary according to individual computer screens.
