All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Full description
This wonderful dark minimalist threader earrings have been hand-crafted in sterling silver. The silver has been oxidised to create a dramatic effect. The bottom of the long earrings are hand-sawn silver sheet that represent the ridged tops of the poppy head seeds. To represent the bulbous bauble part of the seed head a spider web jasper has been threaded on the earring. The spider web jasper has a fantastic illustrative quality to it, that looks a lot like abstract markings.

These earrings come with a gift box, wrapped in parcel paper and finished with a ribbon and label.
