I was given the tiny half buckle at the centre of this piece by a nice lady I occasionally buy vintage jewellery from, I felt it needed a fairly delicate piece so it wouldn't be overwhelmed. The lace is quite a simple design, probably early machine lace, and I've kept the beading very simple so the little diamante piece can shine. I've also never used a ribbon fastening before I usually use buttons or larger beads for a more definite fastening, this short length of old satin ribbon has been looking for a home for a while.

Full description
Delicate and pretty this bracelet features a length of vintage lace with a little diamante flower in the centre. The flower is half of a little buckle and probably quite old, 50s at least I would guess. The lace is embellished with vintage and modern seed beads including some tiny 1920s steel ones. To fasten the bracelet there is a length of old satin ribbon at each end which ties the bracelet to your wrist. The ends of the ribbon have more of those 20s beads to finish them neatly and give a little weight.
Tying the bracelet is a little tricky, I've done it a couple of times, but it gives the perfect excuse for him to hold your hand and do it for you!
I've put this in wedding jewellery but you could wear it any time.
