The piece is intended to give a romantic feel, like all my pieces there is a link to the sea, the tangled bead strands are inspired by sea weed and the little clumps of stones and shells found occasionally on sand or shell beaches, created by mussels or other shellfish.

Full description
I made this delicate pink, white and red sea glass pendant to reflect a romantic image, it can also be worn as a brooch. The centre of this little pendant is a piece of white sea glass, I found on a local beach in North Devon.
I hand make these pendants by stitching seed beads to create a mount for the piece of glass, some of the beads used are vintage. The pendant is finished by adding several strands of beads which tangle around each other, the strands end in a variety of larger beads and pendants, including vintage bi-cone crystal beads and a tiny, hand made silver bird I cast from silver clay. The pendant is hung by a small tube of beads at the back from a hand made silver wire torc, there is also a handmade silver pin on the back of the pendant so that it can be worn as a brooch instead. The pendant is approximately 2.5cm across and a little over 5cm deep, including the strands of beads.
