African violets particularly, and other plants too, like to kept their roots moist at all times.

I threw this two-part planter on my pottery wheel using strong white earthenware clay and finished it in a beautiful purple violet speckle crystal glaze.

The inner part is porous and sits in water, keeping the plant moist.

It measures 13.5 high and 15cm across the rim

Weight 775gms.
