A handmade clam shell inspired little mug, perfect for flat whites!
This mug has been inspired by the regular walks I take along my local beaches in Torbay, where I walk my dog Rodney and search for shells at low tide. We often enjoy a coffee on the beach whilst watching the sun come up so this mug embodies all of those memories.
The mug itself is wheel thrown at the studio, whilst the shell details and handle are hand built and added at home before the multiple brush on glazes are added to give this mug its beautiful coastal colours. The diddy shell at the top of the handle is the perfect spot to pop your thumb and both shells are glazed in a pearly white.
This mug measures approximately 8cm diameter and is approximately 7.5cm in height. Perfect for a flat white!
The mug will be protective wrapped and then tissue paper wrapped before being boxed. Perfect for gift giving! I will post within 3 days of payment received.
