Full description
A hand made coastal inspired candle stick holder - thrown on the wheel and hand decorated with a shell shaped handle. The holders rim is glazed in a mixture of sandy beiges with blues pooled at the base of the dish, whilst the shell style handle is glazed in a pearly white.
After a walk along the Devon coast, I love nothing more than snuggling up with my dog Rodney, grabbing my kindle, making a coffee and lighting a candle. So I created these vintage inspired candle holders to add a touch of warmth and light to bookshelves, coffee tables and cosy corners for those cosy wet weather afternoons on the sofa.
Dishes can be used to hold small trinkets but I would advise using a non drip candle to prevent any wax falling onto precious items.
This dish measures approximately 12.5cm in diameter and 16.5cm including the handle and lip. Most standard dinner candle sticks will fit although some may need a little push into place. Letting a little wax drip into the holder before placing the candle in can also help secure any small sticks.
My candle stick holders are protective wrapped, then tissue paper wrapped and boxed. They each come with a candle stick(candles may drip) - perfect for gifting!
