This piece was born from a desire to blend the tools of creation with the scenes they create. As a sculptor who eschews molds, I wanted to turn a rigid, utilitarian paintbrush into something fluid and organic. I was inspired by the concept of 'work meeting rest'—literally painting a shoreline onto the brush and populating it with tiny sunbathers to remind us that even the busiest hands deserve a moment to 'Relax' and soak in the tide.

Part of the Vessels of Curiosity collection, this vintage-style 8” paintbrush has been meticulously transformed into a miniature coastal diorama. Featuring a textured, sandy shoreline and frothy white waves hand-sculpted onto the bristles and handle, this piece captures the serene essence of a summer afternoon.
Hand-Sculpted Excellence: No molds were used in the making of this piece. Every wave and sandy ridge is uniquely textured by hand.
Intricate Details: Three miniature sunbathers lounge on the "beach," nestled near realistic tufts of sea grass and rocky outcrops.
