My primary inspiration for this art was my memories. The beach to me is a "universal happy place." The work captures a frozen moment of a British summer—the texture of the sand, the specific shade of the water, and the simple joy of people standing by the sea. It's a "pocket-sized vacation" for someone's wall.

"On The Beach" – Hand-Painted Miniature Diorama on Upcycled Paintbrush
Bring a little piece of the British seaside into your home with this unique, one-of-a-kind mixed-media sculpture.
Using a repurposed large paintbrush 8” length as my canvas, I have hand-painted the bristles to mimic the crashing waves of the Atlantic, topped with textured "sand" and realistic coastal shrubbery.
Perched on the "shore" are three hand-painted miniature figures enjoying a summer day. Look closely and you’ll find two gentlemen in their swim trunks sharing a conversation, while a lady in a blue swimsuit looks out toward the horizon.
Upcycled Paintbrush: Carefully cleaned and prepared for its new life.
The handle is adorned with a hand-painted "On the beach" wooden tag, a shimmering blue ribbon for hanging, and two polished stones (including a beautiful aqua-toned bead) that catch the light.
Every element is fixed by hand, making this a truly unique gift for ocean lovers or collectors of miniature art.
