This piece was born from a fascination with the Victorian 'memento mori' culture and the dramatic silhouettes of high-fashion noir. I wanted to transform a discarded everyday object—a simple bottle—into a character with a story. By hand-sculpting the drapes, I aimed to capture a sense of movement and frozen time, echoing the organic textures found in both nature and weathered industrial decay.

Full description
A hauntingly elegant fusion of texture and mystery.
This hand-sculpted decorative vessel is a signature piece from the Vessels of Curiosity studio. Eschewing the use of mass-produced molds, every fold of the "Crimson Matriarch’s" gown and every detail of her intricate headpiece has been meticulously shaped by hand, ensuring that no two pieces will ever be identical.
The sculpture features a deep, metallic red-and-black draped "fabric" effect that wraps around a sleek upcycled glass base. Adorned with delicate black netting, crimson roses, and silver-toned accents, this piece balances the line between fine art and gothic curiosa.
