Tea towels are such fun for trying out new colourways and patterns for future use, and I use them as experiments to inform future weaving projects. Here I was trying to create a simple design to merge and blend colours together, and one that was more interesting than a more standard plaid - I think I succeeded!

Full description
This colourful tea towel is handwoven in a range of bright yellows, green-yellows and greens that subtly vary across the fabric to form a discreet chequered pattern. The yarn used is an absorbent cotton, which is woven in a plain weave. There is a linen loop attached to facilitate hanging the towel from a peg if so desired. At 49 x 100 cm it is a useful large size.
