Margo was the second print I created in my 'An (Animal) Called' range, and she was created after a trip to Whipsnade Zoo! I was amazed at how luminous the flamingos looked on such a dull day, that I rushed home to paint a bright, fabulous, pink, feathery flamingo - just the same!

With her head held high and her plumage caught mid-flutter, she radiates confidence and flair. The kind of flamingo who dances to her own rhythm and isn’t afraid to take up space – Margo is here to remind us all to embrace what makes us wonderfully different.
Part of my much-loved “An (Animal) Called…” series, Margo is one of six illustrated characters - each full of personality and brought to life with gentle watercolours and delicate ink details.
Printed on high quality 210gsm off-white Fine Art paper, ‘A Flamingo called Margo’ is printed using archival, colour-fast inks to ensure the colours keep vibrant and your print stays beautiful. The paper has a very slight texture to it which gives a lovely similarity to watercolour paper.

Unframed and carefully packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board.
