Whenever things feel hard or too big, I look up at the stars, which make me feel like things are much bigger than the problems I have. I painted Aurora and Orion, as a little reminder, to look up at the stars, let go of what isn't important, and hold on tightly to what is.

Say hello to Aurora and her little cub Orion – a mama polar bear nestled close with her baby atop a shimmering iceberg beneath the swirling dance of the northern lights. Wrapped in the gentle glow of the aurora, their quiet moment gives warmth in the crisp Arctic night. Soft, loving, and full of wonder, Aurora made a wish—and now holds her precious cub safely in her arms.
Part of my much-loved “An (Animal) Called…” series, Aurora and her baby Orion are part of my set of six illustrated characters - each full of personality and brought to life with gentle watercolours and delicate ink details.
Printed on high quality 210gsm off-white Fine Art paper, ‘A Polar Bear Called Aurora’ is printed using archival, colour-fast inks to ensure the colours keep vibrant and your print stays beautiful. The paper has a very slight texture to it which gives a lovely similarity to watercolour paper.

Unframed and carefully packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board.
