Frederick was inspired by how much I love Autumn, with its rustling, beautiful coloured leaves. I wanted to create a wild, free spirit in Frederick. So I painted him playing in the leaves and looking up to an Autumnal sky with hope.

Say hello to Frederick – a curious little fox caught in a golden moment of wonder, gazing up as a flurry of autumn leaves whirls around him. With his ears perked and tail gently curled, Frederick seems to be listening to the rustle of the season, as if the trees are whispering secrets only he can hear. Full of quiet mischief and woodland charm, he's the kind of fox who always knows the coziest spot to curl up in – but never misses a chance for an adventure.
Part of my much-loved “An (Animal) Called…” series, Frederick is one of six illustrated characters - each full of personality and brought to life with gentle watercolours and delicate ink details.
Printed on high quality 210gsm off-white Fine Art paper, ‘A Fox Called Frederick’ is printed using archival, colour-fast inks to ensure the colours keep vibrant and your print stays beautiful. The paper has a very slight texture to it which gives a lovely similarity to watercolour paper.

Unframed and carefully packaged in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing board.
