Full description
This hand sewn textile artwork would make the perfect gift for a cat lover. It's titled 'Wake me when it's dinner time' and shows a black and white cat snoozing contentedly in an armchair.
The cat has been made out of cotton and I've used acrylic paints and inks to give areas of highlights to his fur. Embroidery threads have been used to add detail and texture and he's been given some shimmery metallic whiskers. The chair and cushion have been made out of furnishing fabric remnants and he's lying on a soft multi-coloured blanket.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
The artwork comes in a good quality double mount. Outer measurements are 10 x 8 inches. Visible area 7 x 5 inches. It is titled and signed on the reverse.
