I love the worn charm of old table linens like this. There is often a tiny piece intact, and just the right size for a little vintage lavender bag.

Full description
This little lavender bag has been recycled from the corner of a vintage embroidered tray cloth.The front is stitched with a tiny bunch of flowers. The back is made from a scrap of vintage cut back cotton to let the scent waft out. Inside is a little muslin bag of lavender from The Wolds in North Yorkshire. Pop it in a drawer or over a hanger to keep your clothes smelling sweet and to keep those moths at bay, or under your pillow to help get a good nights sleep. This sweet lavender bag would make a nice house warming present, or a thank you for a bridesmaid.
The lavender bag is 9 cm by 9 cm and nestling inside is a muslin bag of dried lavender .
The front has a tiny bunch of embroidered flowers, and the back is vintage white cut back cotton.
There is a hook to go over your clothes hangers, or to hang it up as a tiny piece of craft in its own right. It is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse. Your lavender bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
