My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
This handmade card is the perfect size to fit a standard frame so makes a lovely way to send a card and gift in one.
At the centre of the collage is a pretty vintage playing card with a sparrow feeding young. Around the edge I've used patterned papers from old books and Japanese origami papers that complement the colours in the illustration. The origami papers have metallic gold in them which adds some sparkle.
The collage has been mounted onto a 5"x7" card. The inside is blank.
The card will be sent second class to UK, standard to US.
