Fluorite has been called 'the most colourful mineral in the world' because it can be found in all colours of the spectrum.
A translucent stone, the most commonly found shades are green, purple, yellow, and blue.
Fluorite was associated with the Roman goddess Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom.
It was thought that Fluorite stimulated the brain cells, enabling the two hemispheres of the brain to work in harmony, bringing clarity and calm.
I love these fluorite beads with their almost luminous translucency and gorgeous range of colours, and the carved briolette is stunning.

Full description
This beautiful necklace features a striking 40mm x 8mm carved Rainbow Fluorite long drop briolette pendant with bands of lilac, yellow and pale pink colour.
It is set between a pair of rich purple 4mm Fluorite beads, highlighted with gold vermeil spacers.
The necklace is made from rows of five 6mm Fluorite separated by 4x13mm Hematite tubes, graduating to 4mm Fluorite.
The fluorite beads are beautifully translucent, with varying shades of green, purple, white and pink, and the Hematite tubes are highlighted with 1.8mm gold vermeil rounds.
The necklace is finished with a gold vermeil trigger clasp.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold, and the clasp is stamped '925'
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this one of a kind necklace would make a stunning gift for a birthday or anniversary, a special accessory for a wedding or party, or a well deserved treat for yourself.
This necklace measures approximately 17.75 inches (45cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
