Full description
This quirky little textile artwork would make a lovely, one-of-a-kind gift.
I've used pale green batik behind the birds and added some embroidery threads and white seed beads to represent grasses. The guineafowls' plumage is made with spotted batik and I've used embroidery thread to add details to the head and neck. The panel is hand sewn onto cotton fabric which has a striking African mudcloth pattern.
The artwork comes in an 8 inch white, square mount with a 3.75 inch aperture.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
The item will be posted second class to UK, standard to US.
