My inspiration for this key holder was to use my pyrography skills and embellishing with spirit based wood stains for this design. Using a piece of English Ash with Zebrano on the ends that was made from recycled offcuts. I truly enjoy this part of wood working and it enhances my woodturning pieces as well as the items like this.

Full description
The woods are English Ash for the main part with end pieces from recycled Zebrano. This wood was glued together and gives a subtle colour background. I then traced my design onto the wood and pyrographed the image and embellished brushing wood grain stains into different areas to give the illusion of the tree bark. I turned the Beech wood pegs on my wood turning lathe and drilled the holes for fixing. I used sanding sealer to seal the wood. I finally buffed it using vegan friendly carnauba wax to shine.
This key holder is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible. Please note that wood is a natural product and can be affected by its environment.
