TasWood is waking to birdsong, brighter skies, and the first rustle of spring. New treasures have arrived in the studio - each one hand-drawn, hand-printed, and rooted in quiet woodland magic.
The Easter Hare Collection is now live, hopping through the Forgotten Tracks Post Portal with a pocketful of seasonal stories. From Good Egg keepsakes to folklore-rich illustrations, these pieces are made for little explorers and lovers of springtime wonder.
Mother’s Day gifts are also available, including Finn’s Gift of Gloves - an illustration born from a childhood misunderstanding and shaped into a tale of innocence, friendship and folklore. Last orders for Mother’s Day is 7th March to ensure everything arrives in time.
Favouriting my shop is the best way to catch new arrivals, seasonal stories, and the moment fresh magic lands in TasWood.
This design is inspired by the older spring folklore of the Easter Hare. Long before the modern Easter Bunny appeared, German tales spoke of Oschter Haws - a magical hare who left bright eggs for well-behaved children. Jacob Grimm later linked this tradition to Eostre, the Anglo‑Saxon goddess of spring, weaving the hare into centuries of seasonal storytelling.
I’ve always loved that gentler, more ancient version of the tale, which is why I have illustrated a hare rather than a bunny. My artwork grows from nature - the soft browns of woodland fur, the yellow of daffodils, the textures of moss and early spring light. From that world comes the Easter Hare in his rocking chair, tea steaming beside him, carefully checking his Good Egg list.
This personalised Easter baby bib carries a little of that folklore: practical for everyday use, but also a tiny keepsake from an older story, celebrating your own little Good Egg.
Safety information
This bib is crafted from premium towelling fabric with secure stitching, ensuring safe and comfortable use during mealtime. Use mild detergent and avoid bleach to maintain the fabric’s softness and vibrant design. Keep away from open flames and high heat sources to preserve fabric integrity. Not suitable for children under three years if used unsupervised, as the straps may pose a tangling hazard.

Full description
Bring a touch of springtime magic to your little one’s Easter with this personalised baby bib, hand-printed with my original Easter Hare illustration. Before the modern Easter Bunny, folklore told of the Easter Hare - a watchful creature who visited well-behaved children and left colourful eggs to welcome spring. I chose the hare, not a bunny, because he belongs to this older, more enchanting tradition.
Each bib features your chosen initial and the words:
“Name, You’re A Good Egg!”
A joyful message that makes this a thoughtful personalised Easter gift for babies and toddlers.
Crafted from soft, durable towelling and measuring 27.5cm x 37cm, it’s gentle on little faces while practical for everyday spills. The illustration - my ink and watercolour Easter Hare in his rocking chair with his Good Egg list and spotty teapot - adds a whimsical, storybook feel to mealtimes.
Every bib includes a copy of my poem The Tale of the Easter Hare, bringing a little folklore to your Easter traditions and turning an everyday essential into a keepsake.
Perfect for first Easter celebrations, springtime treats, or adding a touch of magic to the highchair, this bib blends functionality with charm. A sweet way to celebrate your own little Good Egg.
