Tiger's Eye is a type of quartz with a silky lustre and and flashes of chatoyancy.
Roman soldiers wore Tiger's Eye stones in battle, believing they gave alertness, clarity of mind and protection from harm.
It is still believed to enhance courage, confidence and self-esteem.
Mother of Pearl is the name given to the lining or nacre of mollusc shells, a unique combination of minerals secreted by molluscs that have a width similar to light waves, which gives the nacre an iridescent, shimmering sheen.
Mashan Jade, also known as Mountain Jade, is not Jade at all, but the trade name for Dolomite Marble.
It has a nice waxy sheen, and takes dye very well, so can be found in many colours.
These have been dyed to a very pale, delicate shade of peach which is complemented beautifully by the Tiger Eye, Mother of Pearl and copper.

Dainty bracelet of 4mm Red Tiger Eye, pale peach Mashan Jade and white mother-of-pearl beads set with six sparkly, 3mm quality Austrian crystal bicones in a colour called 'light peach'.
Red Tiger Eye has the same chatoyancy as yellow Tiger Eye, but is a rich, dark, red-brown colour.
The Mashan Jade has a soft, waxy sheen and the mother-of-pearl has iridescent glints when it it catches the light.
Each crystal is bracketed by 2mm copper rounds which enhance the peach hue and add extra shine.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon, UK, this would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, bridesmaid, Valentine or Mother's Day or keep it as a treat for yourself.
This stretch bracelet measures approximately 6.25 inches (16cm), please contact me via the button below my shop banner if you require a different size.
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
