Crows, standing strong and stark against the landscape.
This scraffito technique lends itself to strong designs, crows being perfect in my mind. I also leave a design as the background, abstract stripes, swirls or patterns representing harvested crops.

Full description
Handmade porcelain Crow necklaces with a black cord.
I make the basic shape in lovely white porcelain clay, giving it a gentle curved outline, then I cover it with black slip. When this is dry, I carve away the areas that will remain white, leaving the image in black. After firing I cover with a clear glaze to make the colours really contrast
It has a sliding knot so the length can be altered to suit different outfits or preferences.
