I'm a fan of the brooch, so I thought I'd make some. I'm also a fan of the crow so what to put on them wasn't exactly a difficult decision. Then there's the story, something happening, something close to me and something I'll show you. But now its your story.

Full description
This bird brooch could be about a crow and a star, or a crow and a dream or a path to follow. I don't know - I like to think you'll just see it and know what we are both thinking about.
Lovely patterned bird with something to say, crazy background, North star. Everything present.
Made by shaping a disk of porcelain, preparing the surface, painting with lovely black slip, then when the conditions are right carving into the slip and there it is. Finished off with a lovely glossy transparent glaze which makes it darker and more mysterious
No two alike, this one is 6.5 high and 4.5cm wide, safety clasp on the back.
