These shiny black beads, really sparkle, they haven't really fitted into any of my jewellery since I first started using beads. I saw a demonstration of making ornaments using modern beads and had an inspiration about the various vintage beads I have in my collection. Some came from family members and some have come from vintage markets and charity shops.
I love how they look and have kept one for our tree.

Full description
Unique and classy tree ornament, made using vintage, black, faceted beads. The beads are glossy black and might be glass or possibly jet. I have had them for quite some time and have used a few before. The ornament is made by threading the beads onto twisted, fine, beading wire and using gold coloured crimps to close it off.
Iin between the black beads are old gold coloured seed beads, these also qualify as vintage as I bought them for an A level project in the early 70s. The ornament has a bicone bead at the end
The ornament measures 13cm including the loop, the bead section measures 8cm.
Unique, classy addition to your tree, I may make another black one but it won't be exactly the same.
