New Fairy, Witch and Animal Dolls. Just to say, each animal doll has a tail. The little girls' have tails under their dresses peeping out of their drawers and out of the little boys plus fours!
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. Full description
This is Greta, a tiny winter berry Christmas mouse in a wool cape. She is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. She is dressed in a Winter Berry print, a white ground with berries in a range of reds with varying colours of evergreen leaf. The print is called Winter Berry Arbutus by William Morris She has coordinating underskirts in burgundy shot cotton, white tulle mesh and white cotton lace bloomers. To keep warm she has a wool cape lined with a Japanese yarn dye cotton in green to pick up the green in her dress. Her dress is finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes. She is a brown mouse with brown ears, a pink tail with white whiskers and a pink nose with little black bead eyes.
She is softly stuffed with rosemary in her stuffing for a gentle scent and she has a tiny piece of rose quartz at her heart. She has a brass ring to her back in case you want to place her on the wall.
She stands 7 inches tall
She is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
