Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. A new version of an old pattern. I love my rag doll pattern but always struggled to make her head stable. I have now made a four part body rather than two part body so she has a definite chin and a much more stable head. She is a tall girl with long legs and a big bottom, so sits very comfortably.
This little series sees each doll as a flower fairy with tattered wings and a flower print motif to her dress.

Full description
Ida is a cloth doll made with a tea dyed calico body and a hand embroidered face. She is made to my own pattern. She has hand stitched and styled wool tops for hair in a warm pale teal colour. She sports a very jaunty teal coloured crochet hat with a pompom in Rowan Yarn. Her dress is an Acufactum cotton print called Snowdrops in rich grey green ground with Snowdrop flowers and bulbs abounding. She has co-ordinating underskirt & knickers with a white tulle petticoat. She sports a little sampler pillow. She stands 50cm tall and has a tiny waist with a plump bottom and she has button joints for her arms, She will sit nicely on a chair or a bed.
She has small parts including button joints and sadly, is not suitable for children
