Clocks are an integral part of our lives, and rare is the house that doesn't have or need a clock. So my feelings are if you are going to have a clock, at least have one that can make a statement! Slate and wood are both natural materials that compliment each other so well, one with a stoney grain, the other with its wood grain.

Wall clock made from Slate with wooden centrepiece. This wall clock is a striking and unusual timepiece, that would make a bold statement in any room of the house or workplace. The dark smooth slate with its engraved roman numeral chapter ring contrasts well with the reclaimed wooden centre panel, displaying a cardinal point compass motif. The clock has a silent sweep movement so it won't disturb your free time with annoying ticking. Requires 1 x AA battery (not included). Due to the weight of the clock please ensure your wall fixing is secure and robust enough to support the clock. Size 300mm diameter, depth 35mm, weight 1.32kg.
