I have always had a soft spot for these love spoons. I trained in Wales and while I was there and came across these ancient tokens of affection where they first originated centuries ago, and was amazed by the variety and scope in their designs, Many motifs have meaning to them, and this helps to make each spoon unique in nature and meaning. There is an extra sense of warmth creating something that honours a tradition from long ago that has its roots in love.

Unique love spoon made from mahogany. This love spoon features a double heart crown, simple plait and finished with a spoon bowl. Spoons of this type are given as a token of love and affection. Great as a gift for anniversaries, engagement, Valentines Day, or perhaps a thank you to someone special. This spoon is made from recovered mahogany and finished in beeswax. Height 240mm, width 80mm, depth 15mm, weight 50g.
