I began making bookmarks during lockdown as a way of sending something ( ANYTHING!) to friends and family, simply to spread a little happiness in an otherwise awful time for us all.
The bookmark idea grew and grew. Eventually I decided to add messages to them. Birthday Greetings seemed an obvious choice, and were some of the first I made. I now have a range of very pretty, hand made bookmarks with many different messages to offer to you, and this bookmark is just one of them.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
It's a sentiment with which many knitters would always agree! This pretty bookmark is perfect for the knitter in your life. Hand painted and embossed in tones of antique gold and blue it is a very pretty bookmark indeed. The metallic watercolour adds a beautiful shimmer to each bookmark, especially to the scalloped border.
The bookmark doubles as a greetings card and is much more useful! The reverse is left plain for your own message.
The bookmark has a pretty, antique gold-coloured faux silk tassel attached.
Please note this is not computer generated art nor is it printed. It is totally hand made: designed, painted, stamped and embossed by me for you. Each bookmark is made to order therefore may vary slightly from the one illustrated above.
The bookmark measures 20 cms x 7 cms, It is painted on 300 gsm cotton rag watercolour card.
Sustainable packaging is very important to me. Each bookmark comes supplied with a recycled Kraft envelope so that you can post it, and is protected by a recycled and compostable cello sleeve.
I use recyclable envelopes/boxes to post your bookmark to you. They are sealed using strong recyclable paper tape.
The price of each bookmark includes postage and packing to UK addresses only, using the Second Class Royal Mail service.
