Full description
This cute little elephant would make a great unusual gift for an animal lover or would love to keep you company while you work or relax in the evenings. He would look equally at home on your bookshelf or bedside table, or with pride of place on a mantelpiece.
He has been made by carefully sculpting wool over a wire armature. His tusks are made from wool and strengthened with a little Mod Podge. He can be gently posed how you like, including raising the trunk! His blanket is crocheted on a tiny hook using glossy embroidery thread. It is not attached and can easily be removed or replaced as you like.
He measures approximately 15 cm (6 inches) from his front foot to his ears.
All of the wool in my sculptures has been obtained from ethical sources. I like to support small business and local farmers and shepherds where I can.
PLEASE NOTE that, as with all of my sculptures, this figurine is intended as decoration only and is not a toy. Due to small parts, and the wire frame, it should be kept out of reach of children and animals. It is fairly fragile but if it is handled with care, it should last a long time.
