I began making bookmarks during lockdown as a way of sending something ( ANYTHING!) to friends and family, simply to spread a little happiness in an otherwise awful time for us all.
The bookmark idea grew and grew. Eventually I decided to add messages to them. Birthday Greetings seemed an obvious choice, and were some of the first I made. I now have a range of very pretty, hand made bookmarks with many different messages to offer to you.

This pretty, hand-made bookmark is a great way to send birthday wishes to someone special.
The bookmark doubles as a greetings card and is much more useful! The reverse is left plain for your own message
The design is very pretty, using a winning combination of embossed and hand painted elements. I love using metallic watercolour and it adds a beautiful shimmer to each bookmark.
The bookmark has a pretty gold coloured faux silk tassel attached
Each bookmark is made to order therefore may vary slightly from the one illustrated above, but remember all truly hand made goods are unique and are therefore very special and make terrific gifts. It is a unique (but small!) piece of art.
Each bookmark is 20cms x 7cms, and the reverse is left plain for you to add your own message. It is painted on 300msg cotton rag watercolour card.
Sustainable packaging is very important to me. Each bookmark comes supplied with a recycled Kraft envelope so that you can post it, and is protected by a recycled and compostable cello sleeve.
I use recyclable envelopes/boxes to post your bookmark to you.They are sealed using strong recyclable paper tape.
The price of each bookmark includes postage and packing, using Second Class Royal Mail service.
At present I can only send bookmarks to UK addresses.
