Lapis Lazuli is the most popular alternative to Sapphire as the September and Virgo birthstone
Lapis Lazuli is an ancient rock, an aggregate of the minerals lazurite, calcite and pyrite.
This deep blue stone contains sparkly Pyrite elements, andhas been prized by human civilisations for over 6000 years.
Cleopatra famously used ground Lapis for her eye make-up and Renaissance artists made a costly pigment from it called 'ultramarine'.
It is thought to promote self awareness, clarity of mind and inner peace.
Rainbow Moonstone is a form of white Labradorite rather than a type of Moonstone, although the appearance is very similar to Moonstone.
It is thought to bring emotional balance, harmony and hope.

Full description
Each earring features a 5mm Rainbow Fluorite bead topped with a 10x6mm Lapis tube and a trio of 2.75mm AAA grade faceted Lapis beads.
Lapis Lazuli is one of the birthstones for September and Virgo.
The tube is highlighted with tiny 2mm faceted Pyrite spacer beads that give a subtle sparkle.
The beads are threaded onto gold vermeil pins and hing from gold vermeil ear-wires.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold.
These lightweight earrings would make a lovely handmade gift for an anniversary, September birthday, Virgo friend, a special Thank You or as a well-earned treat for yourself.
Handcrafted (by me!) in my home workshop in Devon, UK.
These drop earrings measure approximately 1.25 inches (3cm).
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
