If you need something to do in your spare time or need a mindful moment, try some sewing techniques with this fabric panel to create something unique.
I love to use old photos and create something new with photo editing. I also love sewing and fabric so I have combined the two to create this 10x15cm fabric panel professionally printed on a 250gsm soft canvas. The photo shows a pretty Edwardian or Victorian looking lady in a seated position, next to a bunch of flowers. I have kept the damaged edges of the photo and added lace behind them, I have made her dress a beautiful plum colour.
You can keep it as it is, frame it, or use it as a focal point of a sewing project, use slow sewing ideas, embroidery stitches, sequins, beads, scrap fabric to make it into a bigger panel, use it as a patch for a garment with a tear in it, part of a journal cover, make a small zipped bag, the choice is yours.
