Full description

I have heard of slow sewing as a new way to relax and create a unique piece of art. I love to sew and to create new images so I put these 2 passions together and created fabric panels.

This listing is for 2 fabric panels, measuring 10x15cm each. One panel is plain, it shows a postcard with beautiful hand writing on it and gorgeous pink roses. The 2nd panel shows the profile of a young Edwardian lady holding a rosebud, next to a vase of roses. I have also added star elements in varied sizes.

You can rough cut the lady and stars, arrange them on the more plain panel, then sew them down as you wish, using your instincts instead of following a plan. Or you can use the panels however you wish, separately or together, it's up to you.

The fabric is 250gsm soft canvas, professionally printed in the UK and is washable.

You can keep it as it is, frame it, or use it as a focal point of a sewing project, use slow sewing ideas, embroidery stitches, sequins, beads, scrap fabric to make it into a bigger panel, use it as a patch for a garment with a tear in it, part of a journal cover, make a small zipped bag, the choice is yours.

Please go to my main page to the Instagram link to see footage of my other makes and some other panels.

Props not included.

I can usually post the next working day. I am now posting 2nd class to avoid increasing postal charges.
