Welcome to my Autumn Collection xx
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. I love colour and I am particularly drawn to the delicate prints you can find in Liberty Tana Lawn and Cotton Poplin. However, sometimes I find myself attracted to less colourful prints and I buy them and never use them. So the midnight series was born, little creatures in blacks, browns and greys with dark prints that please me. Antonia Bloom is a favourite fabric of mine, several years old now but such wonderful vibrant colours. The golden brown of Esme's fur sits so well with this late summer print.

Full description
This is Esme, a tiny midnight mohair mouse. She is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. She is dressed in a Liberty Tana Lawn called Antonia Bloom, the midnight version, a black ground with a riot of wild flowers and blooms running across the fabric. She has coordinating underskirts in deep orange shot cotton, black tulle mesh and cream cotton lace bloomers. Her dress is finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes. She is a golden mohair mouse with brown ears and tail, white whiskers and an embroidered pink nose. Her pearl bead eye is a rich brown.
She is softly stuffed with chamomile in her stuffing for a gentle scent and she has a tiny piece of carnelian at her heart. She has a brass ring to her back in case you want to place her on the wall.
She stands 7 inches tall
She is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
