Hi and welcome to Born Again Bears. This name began as the first bears I made were as keepsakes and memories, made by bringing precious items back to new beginnings as special bears to cherish.
I enjoy making all different types and sizes of bears and indeed mice and have enjoyed becoming part of the Folksy family as an outlet for this.
International postage is a new area for me and I will happily combine postage. Please contact me for a price for this and I will do what I can to keep the cost as low as possible.
Using a piece of antique velvet required an old soul bear pattern design to emerge.

Full description
This is Django and as you can see he is a busker playing his guitar and collecting coins in his biscuit tin.These are all part of the purchase and are 12th scale miniatures.
Django is made from a Victorian velvet table cloth which was showing signs of wear. This has added to his old soul busker appearance. His nose and paw pads are faux cashmere shaded to add to the old fashioned look.
He is wearing an embroidered, felt waistcoat and silk tattered and tasseled scarf. English glass eyes, embroidered nose and cotter pin jointed to his head and limbs so he can enjoy the odd dance when the mood takes him.
Please note this is a collectable bear and not suitable for children under the age of 14 years old.
