I love to make different sizes and styles of bear and this piece of mohair was just right to create Woody. I look at the fabric and the bear emerges.

Full description
Woody is made from pale gold, Steiff Schulte Mohair which gives him a lovely ' old bear' look. His paw pads and ears are in a contrasting yellow cotton velvet. There is a cotter pin joint to move his head and his arms and legs are thread jointed.
This is a cute little bear at only 6" tall. I have included a photo of some bobbins and scissors just to show the scale (these are not included in the purchase).
Woody is wearing a hand knitted wool waistcoat and chain stitched tie which come off if you want. He has English glass eyes and sculpted and embroidered facial features.
A lovely little bear to add to your collection, although not suitable for children under 14 years old.
