I am working with local farmers to add value to their wool.
This Poll Dorset lamb fleece comes from a local farm in Thaxted, Essex. The farmer burnt all his fleece last year as the wool marketing board were paying him less for his fleeces that it cost him to take it to them. The wool has been washed and carded into batts, it is white, soft and spins and felts really well.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

100g carded batt of Poll Dorset lamb fleece.
This fibre is locally sourced, hand washed and processed into a carded batt of at least 100g. It is ideal for spinning, wet felting, needle felting or weaving. Poll Dorset fibre is one of the whitest fleece available and it takes both natural and synthetic dyes well. It is a soft fleece with 'next to the skin' qualities.
