This combination of dyed merino and bamboo fibre is my Portchester Blend, named for the road running past my home and studio. It heads East to the village of Portchester, famous for Portchester Castle which includes the most well preserved roman walls outside of mainland Europe.

Full description
A blend of soft merino and lustrous bamboo fibre, created with enough definition to give you distinct colours or allow you to blend further if you prefer. Remember stone washed denim? This soft denim blue fibre will take you straight back to the 80's! Pale blue and silver blue with a hint of something stronger in both merino and bamboo.
Choose from a braid (min, 100g), bundle (min. 50g) or a cute little bun (min. 25g) (That's a bun in my hand in one of the images)
How I spun the sample: I chose to spin this top from the fold to preserve the colour definition. I then chain plied it to give a rounded 3 ply which is about aran weight. You're buying the fibre here, not the yarn sample
74% 23 micron merino from non-mulesed flocks, staple length 75-80mm, dyed to Oeko-Tex 100 standards
26% Bamboo dyed to Oeko-Tex 100 standards
