Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I'm always drawn to variegated yarns and I thought this would be ideal for making leaves. I've also used this pattern with much thicker yarn, it's amazing how different they look when finished.

Full description
These crocheted coasters are made from a high quality recycled cotton yarn in multi shades of green and white. The yarn is soft to the touch and the leaf pattern is textured and includes holes, just like those of a mature monstera or cheese plant.
The leaf shaped coaster is both functional and stylish and will look equally good when used in a kitchen, or for outside entertaining. It will protect surfaces from hot coffees to cocktails and it could also be used under a small vase or plant pot to protect a painted windowsill or glass table.
Each coaster measures approximately 9cm in length, excluding the leaf stalk, and 9cm across its widest part.
The listing is for a set of two coasters. They would make a lovely present for a plant lover or for a small new home gift that's a bit out of the ordinary.
Care instructions: May be washed by hand at 30C, do not wash with other items. Reshape whilst damp. Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.
