Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

Full description
An attractive and useful small lidded storage basket in the shape of an acorn. Made from a high quality recycled cotton braided cord, the basket is flexible yet keeps its shape and the cord gives great definition to the crochet stitches used to create it. In shades of brown, the base colour is called Latte, the lid is Caramel. The lid sits on top of the base and can be lifted off using the acorn's stalk.
It would make a lovely addition to a woodland themed nursery or child's room. It also complements autumnal decor and could be used to store Halloween treats. Or, at Christmas use for (edible) nuts or as a place to hide away some Quality Street!
Measurements: Approximately 11cm in diameter (inside top edge of base) and 14cm in height (including lid to bottom of stalk)
Care instructions: I recommend a gentle surface clean with a damp cloth to remove dust but item may be carefully washed by hand at 30C. Reshape whilst damp and leave to dry; Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.
