When I was really young, in primary school, we were making air drying clay nativity scenes, I remember when it was painting time, there were an array of pink paints (ha!) to choose from to paint our baby Jesuses, and I noticed this fetching florescent pink paint to use for mine.
I got bollocked about this by my teacher, who said I should have been patient, so I repainted my neon baby Jesus, sobbing my heart out. I recounted this memory and a friend encouraged me to make Him rise again, so using the "heretical" texts of St Thomas, where Jesus says that living in oneness is the key to Heaven, He Is Risen. I hope to make even more kitsch versions with chrome and/or holographic details and a series of more gnostic illustrations.

Full description
Water-based black, matte ink print on 220 gsm paper, prepared with florescent pink screen ink, hand-hand pressed with a spoon and touched up by hand also to give it a consistent tone all over.
(Watermark only included to protect the online image, the print will only have edition number, title if needed and it will be signed by myself.)
Size of the image is approx. 19 x 24 cm
Size of the mount is approx. 29 x 32.5 cm
Limited edition of 33 prints of black and white in this design, also soon to be available with either a chrome halo detail or holographic effect if I can get it working! Delivered mounted and wrapped in cellophane.
Framed version for illustrative purposes.
