We are fortunate enough to have hedgehogs which visit our garden, unfortunately in many rural areas their numbers are falling drastically.
We installed a wildlife camera and saw that there were two young hoglets eating the special hedgehog food we leave for them to help them gain weight before hibernation.
This was the inspiration for the stained glass hedgehogs ornaments.
They work particularly well around low growing herbs or alpines grown in a planter or pot.
I am passionate about gardening with hedgehogs and other wildlife in mind.
For every sale of a hedgehog ornament I will make a 10% donation (after Folksy and Stripe fees) to the British Hedgehog Preservation Society Reg charity no.326885

Full description

A unique stained glass Hedgehog plant pot ornament for garden pots, troughs or planted Belfast sinks.

These cute little hedgehogs have been hand painted onto glass using traditional stained glass painting techniques and kiln fired to make the design permanent.

They have been leaded and cemented for out door use. Beneath each hedgehog there are two wire prongs which hold it in place in the soil.

They work well against a pale coloured pot or with a white gravel topper over the surface of the soil.

The Hedgehogs look good amongst alpines or low growing herbs where the can be seen.

See below for charitable donation.
