Sunflowers are an iconic summer flower grown for fun but also to attract the Bumblebees.
The Bumblebees wiggle around the tiny inner flowers collecting pollen as they go on their legs and all over themselves!
I am fascinated by our native Bumblebees and this clock serves as a reminder as to how important pollinators are in the process of producing the food we eat.
This fun wall clock has been hand painted and fired numerous time in the kiln to make the design permanent, it is a time honoured proceed.

A beautiful hand painted stained glass Sunflower & Bumblebee Wall Clock ready to grace any room in your house.
This unique piece would make the perfect gift for a gardener, bee lover or plant enthusiast.
Each time you glance at the clock you are taken back to a warm summers day, the hum of bees collecting pollen from sunflower heads.
The clock face is made from 3mm float glass which has been painted by hand using traditional stained glass techniques. Coloured glass enamels, pigment and silver stain are used, the piece is fired several times in the kiln to make the colours permanent.
The clock is fitted with a battery operated time piece which takes one AA battery - Not Included.
The time can be adjusted by a dial on the rear of the time piece.
There is a Seconds hand, however the clock is virtually silent - it doesn't tick.
The diameter of the clockface is similar to a CD disc.
The clock can be hung from within the timepiece onto a secure screw in the wall.
The clock will be carefully packaged and sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 and gift wrapped at no extra cost.
Each piece of Vanessa Hall Glass is lovingly made from my garden workshop in Devon.
