I'm fascinated by the fairy world, always have been. I remember my nan telling me they lived in the garden and if I looked really carefully I would see little bright lights flickering about the flower beds, these were fairies she's say...
In this drawing I have given the fairy a rest from all that dancing and she is now asleep in the fauna, happily dreaming of her next twirl around the flower beds.

Full description
This is a card from an original drawing of a fairy asleep in a flower. She is dreaming of all things fairy and fantasy as her imagination has no bounds and is full of beautiful things we cannot possibly believe into reality. Her flowing dress forms part of the flower as she is neither from this world or another, she fades into both, for only a few to see.
It can be given to anyone, from a child interested in fantasy worlds and fairies to an adult, interested in the same or just someone who needs to be taken out of themselves and know there is more....
The size is A5, 5 x 7 inches and the image is printed directly onto the front and back of the card. It has a white envelope and is cello wrapped but will be sent in a separate envelope.
She would make a lovely framed picture for the receiver, a little reminder to keep those daydreams alive.
