Celebrate the arrival of a new family member with this traditional good luck charm. Decorated with happy sunflowers and cheerful daisies, this is the perfect symbol of the happiness a child brings to a family.

This is a real, used horseshow, handpainted with enamel paints and finished with outdoor varnish, so it will last and last, indoors or out.

Just send me the name and date of birth or adoption and I'll paint you a horseshoe. Because this is a custom order, it may take up to two weeks to complete, as the paint has to dry between coats. Every horseshoe will be unique because it's handpainted.

Sunflowers are so happy, and, in my mind at least, closely associated with children. That's why they're all over this horseshoe. It's green because I don't like gendered merchandise, so I'll probably never make a pink or blue onject to commemorate a birth.
